The South Carolina Department of Corrections, or SCDC, separates current prisoners from people in its Released Inmate Search. SCDPPPS tracks active community supervision, while BOP and ICE operate under federal authority. This statewide resource keeps those boundaries visible and routes a reader to the source that owns the event.
